Salla is the shorter road if most of your sales are inside Saudi Arabia: an Arabic dashboard, mada and the local shipping companies ready to switch on, and a checkout Saudi shoppers already know.
Shopify gives you more room if you sell in several countries, or in Egypt, or need an order flow Salla does not allow, such as a cash-on-delivery order form on the product page itself.

Payments.
mada, Apple Pay, Tabby and Tamara, and cash on delivery where your margin can carry it. Each method is switched on and tested with a real order before launch.
Pixels before the first ad.
Snapchat and TikTok are main channels in Saudi Arabia, so the Snap, TikTok and Meta pixels are installed and tested with test orders before the first riyal is spent. An ad running on a pixel that cannot see orders learns from the wrong people.
Moving between platforms.
From Salla to Shopify or back, or from Zid or WooCommerce: products and customers move across, old links are redirected, and the pixels are rebuilt before any ad runs.
